Create Your Own Networks

Use our algorithm and create a network from your own gene sets in the GMT file format.

Gene Matrix Transposed files, refered to as GMT files, are collections of gene sets. In a GMT file rows are gene sets. All columns are tab delimited with the set name as the first column, which must be unique, a description in the second column, followed by n columns containing one gene symbol. Columns do not have to be equal in length, as some gene sets may have more genes than others, and genes can be members of more than one set. For our web tool we impose a maximum of 200 per set (per line) and a maximum of 200 gene sets (lines) on GMT files.

Alternatively, download and run one of our Python implementations of Sets2Networks to avoid any GMT maximum.
